thank you for...

I found this tonight and had to share...

Thank you for your lies. Thank you for telling me that 4 million jobs will be created or saved, yet the unemployment rate keeps rising.

Thank you for taking from the working to give to the welfare moochers.

Thank you for kissing our enemies asses, and making us the laughing stock of the world.

Thank you for your obsession to strip away many of my constitutional rights.

Thank you for being so racist, yet trying to be so slick as to hide it.

Thank you for appointing over 30 czars. Isn't this something you only heard about with the old USSR?

Thank you for being so intelligent that you can not complete a sentence without TOTUS there in front of you.

Thank you for appointing a blubbering uggh uggh uggh idiot to be your press Secretary.

Thank you for spending tax payer money that we do not have to send ALL of your family out on their own private airliner to sight see in England.

Thank you for lying and having your uggh uggh uggh press Secretary tip toe around any questions in regards to the legitimacy of your birth certificate.

Thanks for that "change" Buddy, but can I have my change back?

Now onto "hope". I HOPE that the rest of America will wake up to the communist that you are.

Thank you for pushing me to the right.

I feel so sorry for Barry. He just DOESN'T want to do it people! But alas, he has no choice. Big government is just a necessary evil:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/04/29/obama-marks-days/

Oh and of course it's all George Bush's fault. He was "handed a big set of challenges" and big government is the only way to deal with them. Poor guy.

Dr. Adrian Rogers

One of my Facebook friends posted this and I thought it was excellent so I'll share here.

You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by
legislating the wealthy out of freedom.

What one person receives without working for, another
person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give anybody anything that
the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work
because the other half is going to take care of them,
and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work
because somebody else is going to get what they work for,
that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.
You can not multiply wealth by dividing it."

He FINALLY does something right

Obama's authorization of force in the "pirate encounter" was absolutely the right thing to do and I applaud him for it. Kudos to the Navy SEAL snipers who took out three Somali pirates with three headshots. Three shots, three kills -- just the way they are trained.

Hey bad guys, next time you decide to hijack an American ship, you might want to think again. Our SEALs have plenty of ammo and they are itching to put it to good use.

Even the sun isn't immune from Obama's lunacy

Wait a minute, can this really be for real? It isn't April 1 so I have to believe it is. I'm speechless...

The president is forcing the CEO of a private company to step down:

Tell me again how this ISN'T socialism?

Just call him "Mr. Flip-Flop"

Wow, apparently our economy is now "fundamentally sound." That is according to the White House anyway:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/03/15/obama-adviser-says-economy-fundamentals-strong-despite-campaign-rhetoric/

It was a stupid statement when John McCain made it during the election and it's an even stupider statement now.

Hey, where's the popcorn???

I'm sure these will come in handy on the plane ride back to the UK...

Apparently the British prime minister's gifts were a bit more thoughtful and significant. Read the article for details.

Breaking another campaign promise -- oh noes!

Say it isn't so. Barry is breaking another campaign promise. This was that he wouldn't sign any legislation that was laden with pet projects, otherwise known as "pork." Rahm Emmanuel is trying to downplay it and make it seem that Obama doesn't really want to sign it but he doesn't have a choice:

Administration budget chief Peter Orszag and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel both downplayed the $410 billion spending bill and signaled Obama would hold his nose and sign it. Orszag said: "We want to just move on. Let's get this bill done, get it into law and move forward.

I'm sorry, but in this economy how in the world do you downplay a freaking $410 BILLION expenditure??? And who is making him sign it? If he doesn't want to sign it he doesn't have to. He is the one running this country, right?

Where is all the "change" this dude was supposed to bring?

Upholding values > dead Americans

Mr. President is hedging once again. Just in case one of those freed Gitmo inmates DOES participate in an attack against the US, he can say "I told you so."

"Can we guarantee that they're not going to try to participate in another attack? No," Obama said. "But what I can guarantee is that if we don't uphold our Constitution and our values, that over time that will make us less safe. And that will be a recruitment tool for organizations like al-Qaeda."

Yeah, that's great. Tell ya what Barry, if we do get attacked again and it so happens that one of the Gitmo ex-cons is involved, why don't you tell the families of the dead, "Well at least we upheld our Constitution and our values." That should make them feel all warm and fuzzy.

Taxes? We don't pay no stinking taxes!

Good lord, how many people that Obama has selected to work for him are tax cheats? The latest on the list is Nancy Killifer, the proposed "Performance Czar," whatever the hell that means:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/02/03/white-house-performance-czar-nancy-killefer-withdraws-candidacy/100days/

Who'll be next? Why is it that liberals think they don't have to pay taxes? Didn't Joe Biden tell us that paying taxes was "patriotic?" I wonder what his tax records look like...

Oops...sorry folks

Now that Tom Daschle has withdrawn his name from the running, Mr. Obama is "admitting" that he made a mistake.

"Ultimately, I campaigned on changing Washington and bottom-up politics," Obama said.

"And I don't want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards -- one for powerful people and one for ordinary folks who are working every day and paying their taxes."

The why the *HELL* didn't you immediately withdraw his nomination as soon as you found out about his tax "blunder?" If I remember correctly, just a day ago Obama "fully supported" Daschle, right? Had Daschle not taken himself out of the running, Obama would have stayed his course and continued to "fully support" him.

You know, this business of just saying what he thinks people want to hear isn't going to last him for much longer. The American people aren't stupid and those who haven't already seen through him are going to very soon.

An opinion from the Telegraph (UK newspaper)

This is an excellent article written by Gerald Warner in the The Telegraph on January 20, 2009:

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/gerald_warner/blog/2009/01/20/barack_obama_inauguration_this_emperor_has_no_clothes_it_will_all_end_in_tears

A quote that seems to particularly hit home for me:

"It is questionable whether the present political system can survive the coming crisis. Whatever the solution, teenage swooning sentimentality over a celebrity cult has no part in it. The most powerful nation on earth is confronting its worst economic crisis under the leadership of its most extremely liberal politician, who has virtually no experience of federal politics. That is not an opportunity but a catastrophe."

"Teenage swooning sentimentality" -- how very well put. This perfectly describes the Obama-mania that has, for some unknown reason, gripped many in this country over the past 6 months or so. Unfortunately reality is now setting in and these people are having to admit to themselves that this messiah, their harbinger of hope is, in actuality, the emperor without clothes. Their emperor is coming with a $1 trillion price tag. And he hasn't even been in office a month...

Short honeymoon indeed

Here is the first evidence of that short honeymoon I was talking about a couple of weeks ago.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/02/03/americans-reject-want-major-changes-stimulus-poll-finds/

This is Mr. Obama's first major policy move of his presidency, and his "solution" to the most severe crisis facing this country right now and the majority of Americans aren't happy with the direction he is taking.

And it continues...

Again, no surprise here:

"Asked if he could assure the troops "that a substantial number of them will be home" a year from now, the president answered "yes.""

This is just what the terrorist organizations in the middle east have been waiting for. We pull out our troops, they resume training the next batch of crazies, they come over here and attack us again. I sure hope I'm wrong.

Obama wants to cut the defense budget by over 10%. No surprise there. In two short weeks he has already taken several steps to make this country less safe. Pray for our country people...

Let the games begin

Now that Mr. Obama has shown his soft, "We Are the World," "Can't we all just get along" side, Fidel Castro is the first to see just how far Obama can be pushed. No surprises here. I wonder who will be next in line?

Don't you dare disagree

Mr. Obama is warning republicans to "keep politics to a minimum" during the economic stimulus discussion:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/01/27/house-republicans-express-skepticism-bipartisan-backing-stimulus/

In other words, if anyone disagrees with him he is going to accuse them of playing politics in order to discredit their objections, regardless of how valid they may be. He is very good at getting in that preemptive strike in order to disarm his opponents before the battle even starts. It's part of his standard operating procedures.

Friend of Fidel

Oh look, Fidel Castro likes Obama and hopes he can carry out his ideas:

Fernandez said Castro called Obama "a man who seems absolutely sincere," who believes strongly in his ideas "and who hopefully can carry them out."

Yet another fact for Mr. Obama's resume. Just to help you keep score:

1. Releasing potential terrorists
2. Killing more babies
3. Getting cozy with communist leaders

I can't WAIT to see what his scorecard looks like by the end of the week.

Let them kill babies

Obama is going to lift a ban on funding groups providing abortions overseas:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/01/21/obama-lift-ban-funding-groups-providing-abortions-overseas/100days/

Not that this is a suprise -- Obama is THE MOST pro-baby killing politician in America.

So, so far we have setting potential terrorists free and killing more babies. Wow, we are SO on the right track so far...

It's already started

Wow, he has been in office for one day and he has already taken his first step toward making us less safe:

He wants to free people who could have been involved in the killing of over 3000 Americans on 9/11 or in other terrorist acts around the world. Why? A quote from the draft:

"It is in the interests of the United States to review whether and how such individuals can and should be prosecuted,"

Promises from Mr. Obama's press conference this morning:

  • Immediate and decisive action to spur the creation of new jobs
  • Changing the way the government in Washington does business
  • No longer squandering billions of tax dollars on programs that have outlived their usefulness or exist solely because of the power of a lobbyist or special interest group
  • Scour the budget to eliminate what we don't need and improve the things that do
  • Save or create 3 million jobs through economic stimulus
  • Restore the American peoples' confidence in government
  • Tax relief for middle income families
  • Unprecedented measures to allow taxpayers to track exactly how the money in the recovery package is being spent
  • Revamp federal buildings to make them more energy efficient

Nancy Killifer named Chief Performance Officer. Her promises today:

  • Deliver a new, more efficient, and more effective government

When asked about how he is going to reform Medicare and Social Security and what his approach will be, his first response was to remind everyone that he is inheriting a $1.2 trillion budget deficit. Careful Mr. President, you won't be able to blame the previous administration for everything for much longer. His answer to the question was that he should have an answer in February.

He was asked about his level of involvement in the Gaza situation and if he is taking an active role in the situation or simply getting updates from the Bush administration leaders. He responded that we can't have two different administrations addressing foreign policy matters at the same time. Well said. One point for you.

Asked what specifically was stimulative about his economic recovery package. Tax relief for middle income families and for businesses to spur investment in the private sector. Help states under budget pressures prevent laying off vital state workers. He stated that there are no earmarks in the recovery package.
